Super Nintendo World is a themed area at Universal Studios Japan, and under construction at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Singapore, and the upcoming Universal's Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort. Universal has not yet shared an opening date for the park. Once complete, Epic Universe will include a theme park, hotels, restaurants and an entertainment center. Construction on the park was paused last April due to the pandemic. The news comes a week after Universal Orlando announced it had resumed work on its new theme park, Epic Universe, which plans are said to include a Nintendo-themed land. The opening was then pushed to February of this year but was once again postponed. The land was initially scheduled to debut in 2020 along with the Olympics in Tokyo before being delayed because of the pandemic. The opening of Super Nintendo World has been delayed a few times.

There will also be interactive experiences throughout the land such as “? Blocks” that visitors can punch to collect virtual coins. The land will feature a Mario Kart ride and a Yoshi-themed attraction as well as restaurants and shops.
